Depression: What Is It?

DESCRIPTION

It’s natural to feel down sometimes, but if that low mood lingers day after day, it could signal depression. Depression is not a sign of weakness or negativity. It is a major public health problem and a treatable medical condition. It is estimated that 19 million American adults suffer from depression. Please join Sondra Leiggi Brandon, MS, MPH, FNP-BC, PMHNPBC, APRN-Rx to learn what depression is and how long it may last, how to recognize it, what treatment options and resources are available.
