Twenty million Americans have kidney dis-ease and another 20 million are at increased risk. Early detection can help prevent the progression of kidney disease and kidney failure. High risk groups include those with diabetes, hypertension, seniors, certain ethnicities, or family history of kidney dis-ease. Nephrologists Kunal Parekh, MD and Arie Ganz, MD, will discuss diabetic kidney disease, hypertension, signs, symptoms, and treatment for advanced kidney disease.
