Queen’s Speaking of Health Lecture Series – Punchbowl; Wednesday, Nov. 16, 2016

Worried about wounds that have not healed? How long should it take for a wound to heal? How does Peripheral Artery Disease affect wound healing? Learn all about wound care and treatment options with Michael Shin, MD, Queen’s emergency department attending physician, and Ramy Badawi, MD, specialist in cardiovascular medicine and interventional cardiology at the Queen’s Heart Physician Practice.

Dr. Shin and Dr. Badawi will cover:

  • Wound basics
  • Wound management
  • Debridement of wounds
  • Infection
  • How to optimize the healing process
  • How oxygen can help in wound care (hyperbaric oxygen therapy)

Parking is available for a $5 flat rate with validation in the Physicians Office Building III, which is recommended as it is the closest to the Queen's Conference Center. Enter from Lauhala St. You can also park at Physicians Office Building I and Miller parking garages for the same $5 flat rate with validation.
